Boundless' Compact Pole-Mount Solar-Ready Battery Box, holds one, 12 volt 50 amp-hour LiFePO4 (lithium) battery. Connects to one Boundless' covert pole camera using an outdoor ethernet cable. Contains high efficiency, maximum power point tracking solar charging system that minimizes solar panel size. Connects to optional 30W 24V solar panel. Provides solar charging status to our covert pole camera system. Includes bracket for utility pole and up to 4" dia. pole. Boundless' Utility Pole-Mount Solar-Ready Battery Box, holds three, 12 volt 40 amp-hour LiFePO4 (lithium) batteries for ease of installation and hot-swap. Connects to one Boundless' covert pole camera using an outdoor ethernet cable. Contains battery voltage tester and high efficiency, maximum power point tracking solar charging system that minimizes solar panel size. Connects to optional 30W 24V solar panel. Provides solar charging status to our covert pole camera system. Boundless' Utility Pole-Mount AC/DC Power Supply, provides power line filtering, surge protection, and 15 VDC. Connects to Boundless' outdoor covert pole camera system using an outdoor ethernet cable. Box is 4" x 4" x 2".

DIY Power Sources for Boundless' Covert Pole Cameras

DIY: Rechargeable 12V LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery of a physical size that fits in the chosen enclosure and has standard, 15A Anderson Powerpole connectors. Every 12V 40AH = 480WH (watt-hours) of battery capacity typically provides about 5 days' continuous run time of Boundless' ultra low power, outdoor covert pole camera system, on each charge. DIY: 24V 30W Solar Panel. Requires pole-mount bracket and Boundless' Solar-Ready Battery Box, which requires one or more LiFePO4 batteries. In sunny months, in many parts of the USA, a small, properly oriented, 24V 30W panel that is connected to our battery box should provide continuous operation.
